We are searching for a
Facilities Manager
for Galilee Bible Camp (GBC) in LaFollette, Tennessee.
The Facilities Manager will maintain 10 acres of developed camp grounds and facilities,
as well as plan and execute new building projects
across 50 acres of undeveloped land.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Director and Regional Director
EMPLOYMENT: A full-time InFaith employee and responsible for carrying out his ministry under InFaith’s authority and the following policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES: All responsibilities may be accomplished Facilities Manager or by volunteers but are the responsibility of the Facilities Manager.

Maintain an inventory and maintenance log of camp equipment.

Coordinate and implement the grounds keeping of the camp (i.e. mowing, trimming, landscaping) by scheduling of work and oversight of volunteers or accomplishing it personally.

Check buildings for damage or needed repairs and maintain per building maintenance inspection schedule.

Obtain the Small Water Systems license, perform required water tests and maintain log documentation according to the water system guidelines.

Open buildings and prepare (clean and set up) per check-off and cleaning lists for guest groups; close and shut down buildings when groups depart per check-off list.

Assist the Executive Director to ensure that the facilities are not only pleasing and satisfactory for guests, but safe as well.

Oversee volunteer maintenance workers and cleaning crews throughout the year. Maintain contact list and encourage volunteers for future service.

Coordinate and oversee work projects with input from the Executive Director.

Keep the shop clean and organized. Keep all tools in good, working condition. Maintain a list of camp tools and requisition new tools as needed.

Submit large facility improvements to the Executive Director for approval.

Submit paperwork as required.

Keep recreation items inventoried and in good repair.

Visit churches, pastors, and individuals to promote the camp.

Be involved in the planning and implementation of the InFaith program. This is accomplished by attending staff meetings and communicating with the program director and executive director.

Prepare reports/statements for the quarterly and annual board meetings.

As necessary, fulfill the duties of either the Executive Director or Program Director in their absence.
